Quality:
Cheap items have shoddy workmanship and may fail during normal use. They are easily recognized as being poor quality. Using cheap items may cause a negative reaction modifier in social situations. Cheap items cost 50% of the listed price.
Fine goods are made with high quality materials. They are twice as resistant to wear and tear, and come in a wider selection of styles. Fine goods cost 3 times the listed price.
Very fine items were made by master craftsmen. They almost never wear out, and may add a +1 modifier to related skill rolls. These items always have a distinctive design and may cause a reaction modifier. Very fine goods cost 5 times the listed price.

Chain:
The first number indicates the weight of the chain per foot of length. The second number is the maximum load that can be safely supported.

Rope:
The first number is the diameter of the rope, the second indicates the weight per foot of length, and the third is the maximum load that can be safely supported.
Hemp rope is water resistant, extremely coarse, stretches during use, and wears out quickly. Manila rope is smooth, pliable, resistant to sea water, and doesn't stretch. Coir rope is elastic and floats, but degrades quickly if left wet. Silk rope is smooth, light weight, and resistant to bending and running.

Saddlebags:
Large saddlebags measure 14"H x 6"D x 12"W (792 cu in) per side, cantlebags measure 10"H x 10"D x 22"L (1980 cu in), and hornbags measure 11"H x 4"D x 8½"W (350 cu in).
